The Cement reported that the groundbreaking ceremony for the CIMKO Cement Factory Line 2 project took place on 15 May 2026.
The project has a planned production capacity of 3,500 tonnes per day. Muhammad Ali Tabba, CEO of Lucky Cement, attended the ceremony alongside company officials and guests.
The expansion is expected to add production capacity and support industrial activity and employment in the region. Further construction and commissioning updates should be confirmed through the project’s official announcements.
